Awake, awake! Rise up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of Jehovah the cup of his wrath, you who have drained to its dregs the goblet that makes men stagger.
Awake, awake, O Zion, put on your strength. Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.
You know the time. It is the hour for you to awake from sleep. Now our salvation is nearer than when we became believers.
Wake up to righteousness and do not sin. Some do not have knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
For this reason it says: Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.
