18 Bible Verses about Unbelief Toward God

Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.

And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all.

Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear;

Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience.

The Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people spurn Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs which I have performed in their midst? I will smite them with pestilence and dispossess them, and I will make you into a nation greater and mightier than they.”

Therefore He swore to them
That He would cast them down in the wilderness,

You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either.

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.
