'Anything' in the Bible
For three days he could not see, and he neither ate nor drank anything.
But Peter said, "Certainly not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything defiled and ritually unclean!"
nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone.
So because these facts are indisputable, you must keep quiet and not do anything reckless.
But if you want anything in addition, it will have to be settled in a legal assembly.
You know that I did not hold back from proclaiming to you anything that would be helpful, and from teaching you publicly and from house to house,
But I do not consider my life worth anything to myself, so that I may finish my task and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.
When morning came, the Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink anything until they had killed Paul.
They went to the chief priests and the elders and said, "We have bound ourselves with a solemn oath not to partake of anything until we have killed Paul.
So do not let them persuade you to do this, because more than forty of them are lying in ambush for him. They have bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink anything until they have killed him, and now they are ready, waiting for you to agree to their request."
But there are some Jews from the province of Asia who should be here before you and bring charges, if they have anything against me.
"So," he said, "let your leaders go down there with me, and if this man has done anything wrong, they may bring charges against him."
If then I am in the wrong and have done anything that deserves death, I am not trying to escape dying, but if not one of their charges against me is true, no one can hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar!"
and as they were leaving they said to one another, "This man is not doing anything deserving death or imprisonment."
They replied, "We have received no letters from Judea about you, nor have any of the brothers come from there and reported or said anything bad about you.
