In return for my love they accuse me, though I [am in] prayer.
Then the [other] administrators and satraps {began to seek} to find pretext against Daniel {in connection with the kingdom}, but they were not able to find any pretext and {corruption} {because} he was trustworthy, and no negligence or {corruption} {could be found in him}. Then these men {said}, "We will not find any pretext against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God."
Saul had had a concubine, and her name [was] Rizpah the daughter of Aiah. Then [Ish-Bosheth] said to Abner, "Why {did you have sex with} my father's concubine?" {Abner became very angry} at the words of Ish-Bosheth, and he said, "[Am] I the head of a dog which [is] for Judah today? Then these men {said}, "We will not find any pretext against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God."
{Settle the case quickly with your accuser} while you are with him on the way, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father! The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have put your hope!
And [when it] was made known to me there would be a plot against the man, I sent [him] to you immediately, also ordering [his] accusers to speak against him before you.
But [there are] some Jews from Asia who ought to be present before you and bring charges against [me], if they have anything against me,
concerning whom [when] I was in Jerusalem the chief priests and the elders of the Jews presented evidence, asking for a sentence of condemnation against him.
[When they] stood up, [his] accusers began bringing no charge concerning {him} of the evil deeds that I was suspecting,
to which our twelve tribes hope to attain as [they] earnestly serve [him] night and day. Concerning this hope I am being accused by the Jews, O king!
Let this [be] the punishment for my accusers from Yahweh, even those who speak evil against my life.
Let my accusers put on disgrace, and let them cover [themselves] with their shame as with a robe.
For I am conscious of nothing against myself, but not by this am I vindicated. But the one who judges me is the Lord.
But [because] the Jews objected, I was forced to appeal to Caesar (not as [if I] had any [charge] to bring against my [own] people).
I found {he} was accused concerning controversial questions of their law, but having no charge deserving death or imprisonment.
For it seems unreasonable to me to send a prisoner and not to indicate the charges against him."
