'Base' in the Bible

I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.

There I will create a power base for David I have prepared a lamp for my anointed one.

O Lord, keep in mind against the children of Edom the day of Jerusalem; how they said, Let it be uncovered, uncovered even to its base.
