'Begged' in the Bible
When Jesus returned to Capernaum, a centurion came up to him and begged him repeatedly,
“If You drive us out,” the demons begged Him, “send us into the herd of pigs.”
At that, the whole town went out to meet Jesus. When they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
They begged him if they could only touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.
And a Canaanite woman from that district came out and began to cry out [urgently], saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David (Messiah); my daughter is cruelly possessed by a demon.”
But he did not answer her a word. Then his disciples came and begged him, "Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us."
Then his fellow slave threw himself down and begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will repay you.'
“Then, after he had summoned him, his master said to him, ‘You wicked slave! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.
He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
