'Charged' in the Bible
Jesus ordered him to tell no one [that he might happen to meet], “But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your purification, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony (witness) to them [that this is a work of Messiah].”
Her parents were greatly astonished [by the miracle]; but He instructed them to tell no one what had happened.
But He strictly warned and admonished them not to tell this to anyone,
so that charges may be brought against this generation [holding them responsible] for the blood of all the prophets shed since the foundation of the world,
from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah [the priest], who was murdered between the altar and the house of God. Yes, I tell you, charges will be brought against this generation.’
