'Choose' in the Bible
The staff of the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid Myself of the Israelites’ complaints that they have been making about you.”
then Yahweh your God will choose the place to have His name dwell. Bring there everything I command you: your burnt offerings, sacrifices, offerings of the tenth, personal contributions, and all your choice offerings you vow to the Lord.

Your iniquity teaches you what to say,and you choose the language of the crafty.

Isn’t the fast I choose:To break the chains of wickedness,to untie the ropes of the yoke,to set the oppressed free,and to tear off every yoke?
So I will choose their punishment,and I will bring on them what they dreadbecause I called and no one answered;I spoke and they didn’t hear;they did what was evil in My sightand chose what I didn’t delight in.
“Proclaim further: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: My cities will again overflow with prosperity; the Lord will once more comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.”
The Lord will take possession of Judah as His portion in the Holy Land, and He will once again choose Jerusalem.
He told a parable to those who were invited, when He noticed how they would choose the best places for themselves:
Jesus replied to them, “Didn’t I choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is the Devil!”
You did not choose Me, but I chose you. I appointed you that you should go out and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.
Now if I live on in the flesh, this means fruitful work for me; and I don’t know which one I should choose.
Listen, my dear brothers: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?
