And the watchman reported, “He approached them, but he has not returned; and the driving [of the chariot] is like that of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.”
The wicked [those who live in disobedience to God’s law] are not so,But they are like the chaff [worthless and without substance] which the wind blows away.
So they will fear the name of the Lord from the westAnd His glory from the rising of the sun.For He will come in like a narrow, rushing streamWhich the breath of the Lord drives [overwhelming the enemy].
But the Pharisees were saying, “He casts out the demons by [the power of] the ruler of demons.”
But the Pharisees heard it and said, “This man casts out demons only by [the help of] Beelzebul (Satan) the prince of the demons.”
If Satan casts out Satan [that is, his demons], he has become divided against himself and disunited; how then will his kingdom stand?
But some of them said, “He drives out demons by [the power of] Beelzebul (Satan), the ruler of the demons.”
