“Also on your skirts is foundThe lifeblood of the innocent poor;You did not find them breaking in.But in spite of all these things,

‘For wicked men are found among My people,They watch like fowlers lying in wait;They set a trap,They catch men.

For thus says the Lord,“Behold, I am slinging out the inhabitants of the landAt this time,And will cause them distress,That they may be found.”

Then the Lord said to me, “A conspiracy has been found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

“Their nobles have sent their servants for water;They have come to the cisterns and found no water.They have returned with their vessels empty;They have been put to shame and humiliated,And they cover their heads.

“For both prophet and priest are polluted;Even in My house I have found their wickedness,” declares the Lord.

I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’

Thus says the Lord,“The people who survived the swordFound grace in the wilderness—Israel, when it went to find its rest.”

Ishmael also struck down all the Jews who were with him, that is with Gedaliah at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans who were found there, the men of war.

But ten men who were found among them said to Ishmael, “Do not put us to death; for we have stores of wheat, barley, oil and honey hidden in the field.” So he refrained and did not put them to death along with their companions.

So they took all the men and went to fight with Ishmael the son of Nethaniah and they found him by the great pool that is in Gibeon.

‘You said, “Ah, woe is me! For the Lord has added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning and have found no rest.”’

“They have cut down her forest,” declares the Lord;“Surely it will no more be found,Even though they are now more numerous than locustsAnd are without number.

In those days and at that time,’ declares the Lord, ‘search will be made for the iniquity of Israel, but there will be none; and for the sins of Judah, but they will not be found; for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.’

“I set a snare for you and you were also caught, O Babylon,While you yourself were not aware;You have been found and also seizedBecause you have engaged in conflict with the Lord.”

He also took from the city one official who was overseer of the men of war, and seven of the king’s advisers who were found in the city, and the scribe of the commander of the army who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the midst of the city.

Judah has gone into exile under afflictionAnd under harsh servitude;She dwells among the nations,But she has found no rest;All her pursuers have overtaken herIn the midst of distress.

All her majestyHas departed from the daughter of Zion;Her princes have become like deerThat have found no pasture;And they have fled without strengthBefore the pursuer.

I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.

I will bring terrors on you and you will be no more; though you will be sought, you will never be found again,” declares the Lord God.

“You were blameless in your waysFrom the day you were createdUntil unrighteousness was found in you.

The king talked with them, and out of them all not one was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s personal service.

As for every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king consulted them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and conjurers who were in all his realm.

Then Arioch hurriedly brought Daniel into the king’s presence and spoke to him as follows: “I have found a man among the exiles from Judah who can make the interpretation known to the king!”

This was because an extraordinary spirit, knowledge and insight, interpretation of dreams, explanation of enigmas and solving of difficult problems were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Let Daniel now be summoned and he will declare the interpretation.”

Now I have heard about you that a spirit of the gods is in you, and that illumination, insight and extraordinary wisdom have been found in you.

‘TEKĒL’—you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient.

Then the commissioners and satraps began trying to find a ground of accusation against Daniel in regard to government affairs; but they could find no ground of accusation or evidence of corruption, inasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption was to be found in him.

Then these men came by agreement and found Daniel making petition and supplication before his God.

Then the king was very pleased and gave orders for Daniel to be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den and no injury whatever was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.

So he will turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land, but he will stumble and fall and be found no more.

“Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.

And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written,

Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled at him, and turned and said to the crowd that was following Him, “I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.”

When those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave in good health.

But what did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Those who are splendidly clothed and live in luxury are found in royal palaces!

The people went out to see what had happened; and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind; and they became frightened.

And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and reported to no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

Was no one found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”

So those who were sent went away and found it just as He had told them.

And they left and found everything just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.

When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow,

And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”

and said to them, “You brought this man to me as one who incites the people to rebellion, and behold, having examined Him before you, I have found no guilt in this man regarding the charges which you make against Him.

And he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has this man done? I have found in Him no guilt demanding death; therefore I will punish Him and release Him.”

And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb,

Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just exactly as the women also had said; but Him they did not see.”

And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found gathered together the eleven and those who were with them,

He *found first his own brother Simon and *said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which translated means Christ).

The next day He purposed to go into Galilee, and He *found Philip. And Jesus *said to him, “Follow Me.”

Philip *found Nathanael and *said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

And He found in the temple those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables.

Afterward Jesus *found him in the temple and said to him, “Behold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.”

When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You get here?”

So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days.

And immediately she fell at his feet and breathed her last, and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

saying, “We found the prison house locked quite securely and the guards standing at the doors; but when we had opened up, we found no one inside.”

but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God.”

The statement found approval with the whole congregation; and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch.
