'House' in the Bible

For her house sinks down to deathAnd her tracks lead to the dead;

The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked,But He blesses the dwelling of the righteous.

Keep your way far from herAnd do not go near the door of her house,

And strangers will be filled with your strengthAnd your hard-earned goods will go to the house of an alien;

But when he is found, he must repay sevenfold;He must give all the substance of his house.

For at the window of my houseI looked out through my lattice,

Passing through the street near her corner;And he takes the way to her house,

Her house is the way to Sheol,Descending to the chambers of death.

Wisdom has built her house,She has hewn out her seven pillars;

She sits at the doorway of her house,On a seat by the high places of the city,

He who troubles his own house will inherit wind,And the foolish will be servant to the wisehearted.

House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,But a prudent wife is from the Lord.

It is better to live in a corner of a roofThan in a house shared with a contentious woman.

The righteous one considers the house of the wicked,Turning the wicked to ruin.

By wisdom a house is built,And by understanding it is established;

Prepare your work outsideAnd make it ready for yourself in the field;Afterwards, then, build your house.

Let your foot rarely be in your neighbor’s house,Or he will become weary of you and hate you.

It is better to live in a corner of the roofThan in a house shared with a contentious woman.

Do not forsake your own friend or your father’s friend,And do not go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity;Better is a neighbor who is near than a brother far away.
