'Integrity' in the Bible

You are not going to take possession of their land because of your righteousness or your integrity. Instead, the Lord your God will drive out these nations before you because of their wickedness, in order to keep the promise He swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

And Solomon replied, “You have shown great and faithful love to Your servant, my father David, because he walked before You in faithfulness, righteousness, and integrity. You have continued this great and faithful love for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, with a heart of integrity and in what is right, doing everything I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and ordinances,

No accounting was required from the men who received the money to pay those doing the work, since they worked with integrity.

But no accounting is to be required from them for the money put into their hands since they work with integrity.”

He commanded them, saying, “In the fear of the Lord, with integrity, and with a whole heart, you are to do the following:

The men were doing the work with integrity. Their overseers were Jahath and Obadiah, Levites from the Merarites, and Zechariah and Meshullam from the Kohathites as supervisors. The Levites were all skilled with musical instruments.

There was a man in the country of Uz named Job. He was a man of perfect integrity, who feared God and turned away from evil.

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job? No one else on earth is like him, a man of perfect integrity, who fears God and turns away from evil.”

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job? No one else on earth is like him, a man of perfect integrity, who fears God and turns away from evil. He still retains his integrity, even though you incited Me against him, to destroy him without just cause.”

His wife said to him, “Do you still retain your integrity? Curse God and die!”

Isn’t your piety your confidence,and the integrity of your life your hope?

Look, God does not reject a person of integrity,and He will not support evildoers.

I will never affirm that you are right.I will maintain my integrity until I die.

let God weigh me in accurate scales,and He will recognize my integrity.

The Lord judges the peoples;vindicate me, Lord,according to my righteousness and my integrity.

May integrity and what is rightwatch over me,for I wait for You.

Davidic.Vindicate me, Lord,because I have lived with integrityand have trusted in the Lord without wavering.

But I live with integrity;redeem me and be gracious to me.

You supported me because of my integrityand set me in Your presence forever.

Surely You desire integrity in the inner self,and You teach me wisdom deep within.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield.The Lord gives grace and glory;He does not withhold the goodfrom those who live with integrity.

I will pay attention to the way of integrity.When will You come to me?I will live with a heart of integrity in my house.

My eyes favor the faithful of the landso that they may sit down with me.The one who follows the way of integritymay serve me.

The Lord is near all who call out to Him,all who call out to Him with integrity.

for receiving wise instructionin righteousness, justice, and integrity;

He stores up success for the upright;He is a shield for those who live with integrity

Then you will understand righteousness, justice,and integrity—every good path.

For the upright will inhabit the land,and those of integrity will remain in it;

The one who lives with integrity lives securely,but whoever perverts his ways will be found out.

The integrity of the upright guides them,but the perversity of the treacherous destroys them.

Righteousness guards people of integrity,but wickedness undermines the sinner.

Whoever lives with integrity fears the Lord,but the one who is devious in his ways despises Him.

Better a poor man who lives with integritythan someone who has deceitful lips and is a fool.

The one who lives with integrity is righteous;his children who come after him will be happy.

Better a poor man who lives with integritythan a rich man who distorts right and wrong.

The one who lives with integrity will be helped,but one who distorts right and wrongwill suddenly fall.

They hate the one who convicts the guiltyat the city gateand despise the one who speaks with integrity.

Look, his ego is inflated;he is without integrity.But the righteous one will live by his faith.

in everything. Make yourself an example of good works with integrity and dignity in your teaching.
