'Loved' in the Bible
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.
And this is the judgment, that light is come into the world, and men have loved darkness rather than light; for their works were evil.
Jesus said to them, If God were your father ye would have loved me, for I came forth from God and am come from him; for neither am I come of myself, but he has sent me.
for they loved glory from men rather than glory from God.
Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour had come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them to the end.
Now there was at table one of his disciples in the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus loved.
A new commandment I give to you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; but he that loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.
Ye have heard that I have said unto you, I go away and I am coming to you. If ye loved me ye would rejoice that I go to the Father, for my Father is greater than I.
As the Father has loved me, I also have loved you: abide in my love.
This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.
I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and that thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
And I have made known to them thy name, and will make it known; that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them.
Jesus therefore, seeing his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, says to his mother, Woman, behold thy son.
That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved says to Peter, It is the Lord. Simon Peter therefore, having heard that it was the Lord, girded his overcoat on him (for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea;
Peter, turning round, sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also leaned at supper on his breast, and said, Lord, who is it that delivers thee up?
