'Marries' in the Bible
Rebekah also told herself, "Heth's daughters are making me tired of living. If Jacob marries one of Heth's daughters, and she turns out to be just like these other local women, what kind of life would there be left for me?"
If a priest's daughter marries a resident alien, she is not to eat the sacred raised offerings.
"Suppose a man marries a wife, but after having sexual relations with her, he despises her,
"For just as a young man marries a maiden, so your sons will marry you; and just as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.

So he told them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her.
And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery."
Any man who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery."
So while her husband is living, she will be called an adulterer if she lives with another man. But if her husband dies, she is free from this Law, so that she is not an adulterer if she marries another man.
So then the man who marries the virgin acts appropriately, but the man who refrains from marriage does even better.
