'Ninth' in the Bible
Again, having gone out about the sixth and ninth hour, he did likewise.
Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour;
but about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
And when the sixth hour was come, there came darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour;
and at the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
And it was about the sixth hour, and there came darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
And Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, which is the ninth hour;
saw plainly in a vision, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming unto him, And saying to him, Cornelius.
And Cornelius said, Four days ago I had been fasting unto this hour, and the ninth I was praying in my house, and lo, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
