'Originate' in the Bible
"From where, then, does wisdom originate? Where does understanding live?
All of them go to one place: all of them originate from dust, and all of them return to dust.
“Now you, son of man, mark out two roads that the sword of Babylon’s king can take. Both of them should originate from the same land. And make a signpost at the fork in the road to each city.
“They are dreaded and feared;Their justice and authority originate with themselves.
For this reason Moses has given you [God’s law regarding] circumcision (not that it originated with Moses, but with the patriarchs) and you circumcise a man [even] on the Sabbath.

Did the word of God originate from you, or did it come to you only?

What leads to [the unending] quarrels and conflicts among you? Do they not come from your [hedonistic] desires that wage war in your [bodily] members [fighting for control over you]?
