'Prayed' in the Bible
Again going away a second time he prayed saying, My Father, if this cannot pass from me unless I drink it, thy will be done.
And leaving them, he went away again and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.
And rising in the morning long before day, he went out and went away into a desert place, and there prayed.
And, going forward a little, he fell upon the earth; and he prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.
And going away, he prayed again, saying the same thing.
And as he prayed the fashion of his countenance became different and his raiment white and effulgent.
