'Preach' in the Bible
"Son of man, set your face [toward] the way of [the] south, and preach to [the] south, and prophesy against the forest of the territory of the Negev.
"Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and preach to [the] sanctuaries, and prophesy to the land of Israel.
And so then, hear the word of Yahweh! You are saying, 'You must not prophesy against Israel and you must not preach against the house of Isaac!'
"Do not preach!" they are preaching. They should not preach to these; disgrace will not overtake us.
If a man walks about in a spirit of deception and lies, [saying] "I will preach to you of wine and strong drink," then he would be a preacher [for] this people!

but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a cause for stumbling, but to the Gentiles foolishness,
Now I went up [there] because of a revelation and laid out to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles, but in private to the influential people, lest somehow I was running, or had run, in vain.
Some even because of envy and strife preach Christ, but some also because of good will.
preach the word, be ready in season [and] out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and instruction.
