'Preaching' in the Bible
About this time, John the Baptist appeared, preaching in the Judean wilderness,
The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment and condemn the people living today, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. But look something greater than Jonah is here!
So he went throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.

Now those who were scattered went from place to place preaching the word.
Some Epicurean and Stoic philosophers also debated with him. Some asked, "What is this blabbermouth trying to say?" while others said, "He seems to be preaching about foreign gods." This was because Paul was telling the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.
"Now I know that none of you among whom I traveled preaching about the kingdom will ever see my face again.
For God, whom I serve with my spirit by preaching the gospel about his Son, is my witness how constantly I mention you
How, then, can people call on someone they have not believed? And how can they believe in someone they have not heard about? And how can they hear without someone preaching?

Elders who handle their duties well should be considered worthy of double compensation, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.
