'Pride' in the Bible

Some take pride in chariots, and others in horses,but we take pride in the name of Yahweh our God.

Let lying lips be quieted;they speak arrogantly against the righteouswith pride and contempt.

He chooses for us our inheritance—the pride of Jacob, whom He loves.Selah

For the sin of their mouths and the words of their lips,let them be caught in their pride.They utter curses and lies.

Therefore, pride is their necklace,and violence covers them like a garment.
