'Pride' in the Bible
I will break down your strong pride. I will make your sky like iron and your land like bronze,
Who is it you mocked and blasphemed?Against whom have you raised your voiceand lifted your eyes in pride?Against the Holy One of Israel!

then you can swear, “As the Lord lives,”in truth, in justice, and in righteousness,then the nations will be blessed by Himand will pride themselves in Him.

This is what they get for their pride,because they have taunted and acted arrogantlyagainst the people of the Lord of Hosts.
A mongrel people will live in Ashdod,and I will destroy the pride of the Philistines.
