'Sea' in the Bible

The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea,Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap;He lays up the deeps in storehouses.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should changeAnd though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;

By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation,You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea;

He turned the sea into dry land;They passed through the river on foot;There let us rejoice in Him!

The Lord said, “I will bring them back from Bashan.I will bring them back from the depths of the sea;

May he also rule from sea to seaAnd from the River to the ends of the earth.

You divided the sea by Your strength;You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.

Your way was in the seaAnd Your paths in the mighty waters,And Your footprints may not be known.

He divided the sea and caused them to pass through,And He made the waters stand up like a heap.

He led them safely, so that they did not fear;But the sea engulfed their enemies.

It was sending out its branches to the seaAnd its shoots to the River.

You rule the swelling of the sea;When its waves rise, You still them.

“I shall also set his hand on the seaAnd his right hand on the rivers.

More than the sounds of many waters,Than the mighty breakers of the sea,The Lord on high is mighty.

The sea is His, for it was He who made it,And His hands formed the dry land.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;Let the sea roar, and all it contains;

Let the sea roar and all it contains,The world and those who dwell in it.

There is the sea, great and broad,In which are swarms without number,Animals both small and great.

Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders;They did not remember Your abundant kindnesses,But rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.

Thus He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up,And He led them through the deeps, as through the wilderness.

Wonders in the land of HamAnd awesome things by the Red Sea.

Those who go down to the sea in ships,Who do business on great waters;

For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind,Which lifted up the waves of the sea.

He caused the storm to be still,So that the waves of the sea were hushed.

The sea looked and fled;The Jordan turned back.

What ails you, O sea, that you flee?O Jordan, that you turn back?

To Him who divided the Red Sea asunder,For His lovingkindness is everlasting,

But He overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea,For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

If I take the wings of the dawn,If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,

Who made heaven and earth,The sea and all that is in them;Who keeps faith forever;

Praise the Lord from the earth,Sea monsters and all deeps;
