'Stand' in the Bible

The kings of the earth take their stand,and the rulers conspire togetheragainst the Lord and His Anointed One:

I am not afraid of the thousands of peoplewho have taken their stand against me on every side.

The boastful cannot stand in Your presence;You hate all evildoers.

Lord, why do You stand so far away?Why do You hide in times of trouble?

They collapse and fall,but we rise and stand firm.

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?Who may stand in His holy place?

Lord, when You showed Your favor,You made me stand like a strong mountain;when You hid Your face, I was terrified.

Let the whole earth tremble before the Lord;let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

My loved ones and friends stand back from my affliction,and my relatives stand at a distance.

And You—You are to be feared.When You are angry,who can stand before You?

Yahweh, if You considered sins,Lord, who could stand?
