'Temptation' in the Bible

And do not bring us into temptation,but deliver us from the evil one.[For Yours is the kingdom and the powerand the glory forever. Amen.]

“Why are you sleeping?” He asked them. “Get up and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation.”

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to humanity. God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation He will also provide a way of escape so that you are able to bear it.

But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction.
