'Things' in the Bible

You also possess endurance and have tolerated many things because of My name and have not grown weary.

But I have a few things against you. You have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block in front of the Israelites: to eat meat sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.

I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who haven’t known the deep things of Satan—as they say—I do not put any other burden on you.

Our Lord and God,You are worthy to receiveglory and honor and power,because You have created all things,and because of Your willthey exist and were created.

I heard the angel of the waters say:You are righteous,who is and who was, the Holy One,for You have decided these things.

On her forehead a cryptic name was written: BABYLON THE GREATTHE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTESAND OF THE VILE THINGS OF THE EARTH.

The fruit you craved has left you.All your splendid and glamorous things are gone;they will never find them again.

The merchants of these things, who became rich from her, will stand far off in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.Death will no longer exist;grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer,because the previous things have passed away.

The victor will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown them to me.

“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to attest these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright Morning Star.”

He who testifies about these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.”Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
