'Thoroughly' in the Bible

The Lord's words are absolutely reliable. They are as untainted as silver purified in a furnace on the ground, where it is thoroughly refined.

The Lord is near to the heartbrokenAnd He saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin).

Thoroughly wash me from mine iniquity, And from my sin cleanse me,

My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit;A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.

For I suffer humiliation for your sake and am thoroughly disgraced.

Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.

Of old I have known from Your testimoniesThat You have founded them forever.

O Lord, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me.

Certainly my tongue does not frame a word without you, O Lord, being thoroughly aware of it.
