'Wait' in the Bible

Guide me in Your truth and teach me,for You are the God of my salvation;I wait for You all day long.

May integrity and what is rightwatch over me,for I wait for You.

Wait for the Lord;be strong and courageous.Wait for the Lord.

We wait for Yahweh;He is our help and shield.

Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for Him;do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way,by the man who carries out evil plans.

The wicked one lies in wait for the righteousand seeks to kill him;

Wait for the Lord and keep His way,and He will exalt you to inherit the land.You will watch when the wicked are destroyed.

Now, Lord, what do I wait for?My hope is in You.

They stir up strife, they lurk;they watch my stepswhile they wait to take my life.

All of them wait for Youto give them their food at the right time.

They soon forgot His worksand would not wait for His counsel.

How many days must Your servant wait?When will You execute judgment on my persecutors?

I wait for Yahweh; I waitand put my hope in His word.

I wait for the Lordmore than watchmen for the morning—more than watchmen for the morning.
