'Workers' in the Bible

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest."

"For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.

And after agreeing with the workers for the standard wage, he sent them into his vineyard.

When it was evening the owner of the vineyard said to his manager, 'Call the workers and give the pay starting with the last hired until the first.'

He said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.

But when he came to his senses he said, 'How many of my father's hired workers have food enough to spare, but here I am dying from hunger!

I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me like one of your hired workers."'

I do not mean that we rule over your faith, but we are workers with you for your joy, because by faith you stand firm.

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of those who mutilate the flesh!

Look, the pay you have held back from the workers who mowed your fields cries out against you, and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.
