and then will I avow unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, workers of lawlessness.
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few.
Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

And at the right time he sent a servant to the workers to get part of the fruit from the vines; but the workmen gave him blows and sent him away with nothing.
By making silver shrines of Artemis, a silversmith named Demetrius provided a large income for skilled workers.
