'Charge' in the Bible

Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.

and the land is defiled, and I charge its iniquity upon it, and the land vomiteth out its inhabitants:

and ye have kept My charge, so as not to do any of the abominable statutes which have been done before you, and ye do not defile yourselves with them; I am Jehovah your God.'

They are to keep my charge. By doing so, they won't bear the punishment of sin because of it and therefore die if they've been defiled by it. I am the LORD, who sets them apart."

and he causeth him to rest in charge -- to explain to them by the mouth of Jehovah.

Do not charge him usurious interest, but fear your God [with profound reverence], so your countryman may [continue to] live among you.
