'City' in the Bible
Daughter Zion is abandonedlike a shelter in a vineyard,like a shack in a cucumber field,like a besieged city.
The faithful city—what an adulteress she has become!She was once full of justice.Righteousness once dwelt in her—but now, murderers!
I will restore your judges to what they once were,and your advisers to their former state.Afterward you will be called the Righteous City,a Faithful City.”

For they are named after the Holy City,and lean on the God of Israel;His name is Yahweh of Hosts.
“Wake up, wake up;put on your strength, Zion!Put on your beautiful garments,Jerusalem, the Holy City!For the uncircumcised and the uncleanwill no longer enter you.
The sons of your oppressorswill come and bow down to you;all who reviled youwill fall facedown at your feet.They will call you the City of the Lord,Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
And they will be called the Holy People,the Lord’s Redeemed;and you will be called Cared For,A City Not Deserted.
A sound of uproar from the city!A voice from the temple—the voice of the Lord,paying back His enemies what they deserve!
