'Ends' in the Bible

He raises a signal flag for the distant nationsand whistles for them from the ends of the earth.Look—how quickly and swiftly they come!

From the ends of the earth we hear songs:The Splendor of the Righteous One.But I said, “I waste away! I waste away!Woe is me.”The treacherous act treacherously;the treacherous deal very treacherously.

The islands see and are afraid,the whole earth trembles.They approach and arrive.

I brought you from the ends of the earthand called you from its farthest corners.I said to you: You are My servant;I have chosen you and not rejected you.

Sing a new song to the Lord;sing His praise from the ends of the earth,you who go down to the sea with all that fills it,you islands with your inhabitants.

He says,“It is not enough for you to be My Servantraising up the tribes of Jacoband restoring the protected ones of Israel.I will also make you a light for the nations,to be My salvation to the ends of the earth.”

The Lord has displayed His holy armin the sight of all the nations;all the ends of the earth will seethe salvation of our God.
