'Foundations' in the Bible

For fire has been kindled because of My angerand burns to the depths of Sheol;it devours the land and its produce,and scorches the foundations of the mountains.

He raises the poor from the dustand lifts the needy from the garbage pile.He seats them with noblemenand gives them a throne of honor.For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s;He has set the world on them.

Then the earth shook and quaked;the foundations of the heavens trembled;they shook because He burned with anger.

The depths of the sea became visible,the foundations of the world were exposedat the rebuke of the Lord,at the blast of the breath of His nostrils.
