For he has said, “A man gains nothingwhen he becomes God’s friend.”
Ill-gotten gains do not profit anyone,but righteousness rescues from death.
A gracious woman gains honor,but violent men gain only riches.
One person gives freely,yet gains more;another withholds what is right,only to become poor.
Strike a mocker, and the inexperienced learn a lesson;rebuke the discerning, and he gains knowledge.
