Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor, and do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.
But you have eyes and a heart for nothing
except your own dishonest profit,
shedding innocent blood
and committing extortion and oppression.
They mock, and they speak maliciously;
they arrogantly threaten oppression.
Father and mother are treated with contempt, and the foreign resident is exploited within you. The fatherless and widow are oppressed in you.
