'Guard' in the Bible

For this is what the sovereign master has told me: "Go, post a guard! He must report what he sees.

Then the lookout called,“O Lord, I stand continually by day on the watchtower,And I am stationed every night at my guard post.

“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character],Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].

I, Yahweh, watch over it;I water it regularly.I guard it night and dayso that no one disturbs it.

"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will spring up quickly; and your vindication will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will guard your back.

I will bring gold instead of bronze;I will bring silver instead of iron,bronze instead of wood,and iron instead of stones.I will appoint peace as your guardand righteousness as your ruler.
