'Guests' in the Bible
While He was reclining at the table in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came as guests to eat with Jesus and His disciples.
Jesus said to them, “Can the wedding guests be sad while the groom is with them? The time will come when the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.
Although the king regretted it, he commanded that it be granted because of his oaths and his guests.
So those slaves went out on the roads and gathered everyone they found, both evil and good. The wedding banquet was filled with guests.
But when the king came in to view the guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed for a wedding.

When Herodias’s own daughter came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his guests. The king said to the girl, “Ask me whatever you want, and I’ll give it to you.”
Though the king was deeply distressed, because of his oaths and the guests he did not want to refuse her.
Then Levi hosted a grand banquet for Him at his house. Now there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were guests with them.
Jesus said to them, “You can’t make the wedding guests fast while the groom is with them, can you?
“But when you are invited, go and recline in the lowest place, so that when the one who invited you comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ You will then be honored in the presence of all the other guests.
and Jason has received them as guests! They are all acting contrary to Caesar’s decrees, saying that there is another king—Jesus!”
Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.
