'One' in the Bible

But as the One who called you is holy, you also are to be holy in all your conduct;

And if you address as Father the One who judges impartially based on each one’s work, you are to conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your temporary residence.

By obedience to the truth, having purified yourselves for sincere love of the brothers, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,

For it is contained in Scripture:Look! I lay a stone in Zion,a chosen and honored cornerstone,and the one who believes in Himwill never be put to shame!

So honor will come to you who believe, but for the unbelieving,The stone that the builders rejected—this One has become the cornerstone,

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood,a holy nation, a people for His possession,so that you may proclaim the praisesof the One who called you out of darknessinto His marvelous light.

when He was reviled,He did not revile in return;when He was suffering,He did not threatenbut entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly.

For the one who wants to love lifeand to see good daysmust keep his tongue from eviland his lips from speaking deceit,

Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, equip yourselves also with the same resolve—because the one who suffered in the flesh has finished with sin—

They will give an account to the One who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.

Above all, maintain an intense love for each other, since love covers a multitude of sins.

Be hospitable to one another without complaining.

In the same way, you younger men, be subject to the elders. And all of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, becauseGod resists the proudbut gives grace to the humble.

Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.
