'People' in the Bible

His estate included 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 female donkeys, and a very large number of servants. Job was the greatest man among all the people of the east.

Surely He knows which people are worthless.If He sees iniquity, will He not take note of it?

No doubt you are the people,and wisdom will die with you!

In a dream, a vision in the night,when deep sleep falls on peopleas they slumber on their beds,

They die suddenly in the middle of the night;people shudder, then pass away.Even the mighty are removed without effort.

so that godless men should not ruleor ensnare the people.

People cry out because of severe oppression;they shout for help because of the arm of the mighty.

If people are bound with chainsand trapped by the cords of affliction,

Remember that you should praise His work,which people have sung about.

All mankind has seen it;people have looked at it from a distance.
