'Prudence' in the Bible
for giving prudence to the naive, and knowledge and discretion to the young.
My child, may they not escape from your {sight}; may you keep sound wisdom and prudence.
[in order] to keep prudence, and knowledge will guard your lips.
But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks common sense and sound judgment and an understanding [of moral principles];He who would destroy his soul does it.
Understand prudence, you naive people; and gain an understanding heart, you foolish ones.
I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
A fool despiseth his father's correction; But he that regardeth reproof getteth prudence.
Smite a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; And reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
