Accumulation of wealth » The accumulation of, disappointing
Though he heaps up silver as the dust and prepares raiment as the clay, he may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
Surely man walks in darkness; surely they are disquieted in vain; they heap up riches not knowing who shall gather them.
For God gives to the man that is good in his sight wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to the one that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
with thy wisdom and with thine intelligence thou hast gotten thee riches and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal;
So is he that lays up treasure for himself and is not rich in God.
Your gold and silver is corrupted with rust; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you and shall completely eat your flesh, as fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

For we speak perfect wisdom of God, and not the wisdom of this age nor of the princes of this age, that come to nought, but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God predestined before the ages unto our glory, which none of the princes of this age knew (for had they known it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory). read more.

But God has revealed this unto us by his Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of man, except the spirit of man which is in him? Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that God has given us. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but with doctrine of the Holy Spirit, jointly fitting spiritual things by spiritual means. But the natural man does not perceive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he understand them because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual discerns all things, yet he is discerned by no one. For who has known the understanding of the Lord? Who has instructed him? But we have the understanding of Christ.

For God gives to the man that is good in his sight wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to the one that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Better is a handful with rest than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit.
