Jesus spoke these things and lifted up his eyes to heaven. He said: Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that the son may glorify you. You have given him authority over all flesh that he may give everlasting life to the ones whom you have given him. I was with you every day in the Temple teaching and you did not take me. This is done so that the scriptures will be fulfilled.
