God has not given us a spirit of timidity (fear), but of power and love and discipline.
Be determined and with good courage. Do not be afraid of them. Your God, Jehovah, will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.
Peace I leave with you! My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives to you. Do not let your heart be troubled or full of fear.
We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
([Psalm of David]) Jehovah is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the stronghold of my life. Who is there to be afraid of?
Have I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed; for Jehovah your God is with you wherever you go.
Do not fear those who kill the body. They are not able to take away your [everlasting] life. Instead, fear him who is able to destroy both life and body in the ever-burning fires. (Greek: Gehenna: continuously burning trash fires in the valley of Hinnom.)
There is no fear in love. Perfect (mature) love throws out (expels) fear because fear involves restraint (punishment). He who fears is not made perfect (mature) (complete) through love.
Throw all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you.
Trust in Jehovah with all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge (recognize) Him and He will make your paths straight.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man. God is faithful and he will not allow you to be tempted beyond your limits. He will make a way out, that you will be able to endure it.
I AM JEHOVAH, YOUR GOD! I take hold of your right hand and say to you: Do not fear; I will help you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Throw your burden upon Jehovah and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken!
He told me: My grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore, I would rather glory in my infirmities (frailities), that the power of Christ may rest upon me (cover me like a tent) (descend upon me) (abide with me). (Isaiah 40:29-31)
I know the plans (intentions) (thoughts) that I have for you, says Jehovah. They are plans (intentions) for peace and not disaster. They are intentions to give you a future filled with hope.
Those who hope in Jehovah will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary! They will walk and not be faint.
For you have not received a spirit of bondage again causing fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Father, Father! (Chaldee: Abba, meaning father).
You should be free from the love of money. Be content with what you have, for he has said: I will not leave you. I will not forsake you. So that with good confidence (courage) we say: Jehovah is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do to me? (Psalm 56:11)
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and your staff they comfort me.
Seek (desire) (require) (serve) first the kingdom of God and his righteousness [continuously] and all these things will be added to you.

David also told his son Solomon: Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do no be afraid or terrified. Jehovah God, my God, will be with you. He will not abandon you until all the work on Jehovah's Temple is finished.
I will put my trust in you when I am afraid. In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Be alert (be watchful) and stand fast (be vigilant) (persevere) in the faith, carry on as men (be courageous), be strong. (Ps 31:24)
Hope (wait) (expect) (trust) in Jehovah and be strong. Let your heart be courageous. Yes, hope in Jehovah.
Jehovah is the one who goes ahead of you. He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be downhearted.
([Psalm of David]) I wait silently for my God. My salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my stronghold. I cannot be severely shaken.
([Sons of Korah]) God is our refuge and strength, a ready help in times of trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea. Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its arrogance.
Fear of man brings a snare (trap). He who trusts in Jehovah will be safe.
Jehovah appeared to him from afar, saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving-kindness.
If any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God. He gives to all generously and without reproach and it will be given to him. However he must ask in faith, not doubting: for he who doubts is like a surging wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
But Moses said to the people: Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of Jehovah. He will accomplish this for you today. The Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials. Know that the testing of your faith produces patience (endurance). Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be mature, complete, and lacking in nothing.
Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have its own worries. Sufficient for each day is its own badness.
