What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light, and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye from the housetops.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in the heavens. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, a small rock and upon the large rock I will build my congregation , and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against her. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever thou shalt bind on the earth shall be bound in the heavens, and whatever thou shalt loose on the earth shall be loosed in the heaven.

If, therefore, the whole congregation is come together into one place and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the congregation ; but if he neglects to hear the congregation, let him be unto thee as a worldly man and a publican.

For first of all, when ye come together in the congregation , I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

yet in the congregation I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silence in the congregation , and let him speak to himself and to God.

For God is not the God of disorder, but of peace, as in all the congregations of the saints. Let your women keep silence in the congregations , for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be in subjection, as also saith the law.

For I am the least of the apostles, for I am not worthy to be called an apostle because I persecuted the congregation of God.

For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in Judaism, how that beyond measure I was persecuting and destroying the congregation of God

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds upon it. But let each one see how the building is built.

Paul and Silvanus and Timothy, unto the congregation of the Thessalonians in God our Father and in our Lord Jesus Christ:

For the LORD is our shield, and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion and upon the places of her assemblies a cloud and darkness by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night because over all glory there shall be a covering.

But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contends with thee, and I will save thy sons.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer from those that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? Or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?

I said in the cutting off of my days; I shall go to the gates of Sheol: I am deprived of the residue of my years.

Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Blessed are those who suffer persecution for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens. Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in the heavens; for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its savour, with what shall it be salted? From then on it is good for nothing, but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city set upon a mountain cannot be hid. Neither do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on the lampstand, and it gives light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.

While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood without, desiring to speak with him. There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death; for we are made a spectacle unto the world and to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. And that man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a hot land.

Incline thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily; be thou my strong rock, for a house of defence to save me.

The God of Israel dictated unto me, the strong One of Israel spoke): He that rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God who is the rock of my salvation.

Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy saving health and hast not been mindful of the Rock of thy strength; therefore thou shalt plant pleasant plants and set it with strange slips:
