Animals » Sent in judgment
I will send wild animals among you. They will rob you of your children. They will destroy your cattle, and make you so few that your roads will be deserted.
Jehovah sent poisonous snakes among the people. They bit the people, and many of the Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said: We sinned when we criticized Jehovah and you. Pray to Jehovah so that he will take the snakes away from us. So Moses prayed for the people.
He was the one who led you through that vast and dangerous wilderness. It was a parched, arid land, with poisonous snakes and scorpions. He was the one who made water come out of solid rock for you.
Your body will be food to all birds of the air, and to the beasts of the earth. And no man shall frighten them away.
I will send famine and wild animals against you. They will rob you of your children. I will send plagues, violence, and wars to kill you. I, Jehovah, have spoken!'
If I send wild animals through that country and they make it childless and turn it into such a wasteland that no one travels through it because of the animals.
I will leave you on the land. I will cast you on the open field. I will cause all the birds of the heavens to dwell on you. And I will satisfy the beasts of the entire earth with you.

I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven. He was clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was upon his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. He held a little book that lay open in his hand. He placed his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the earth. And he cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. read more.
When the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven say to me: Seal up those things that the seven thunders spoke. Do not write them.
