And Jesus said to him, "It is written also, 'Thou shalt not tempt thy Lord God.'" The devil took him up again and led him into an exceeding high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and all the glory of them; and said to him, "All these will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me." Then said Jesus unto him, "Depart, Satan: For it is written, 'Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve.'" Then the devil left him, and, Behold, the angels came and ministered unto him.

For in that he himself suffered, and was tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

which did no sin, neither was there guile found in his mouth:

These words have I spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. For in the world shall ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my seat, even as I overcame and have sitten with my father, in his seat.

When this corruptible hath put on incorruptibility: and this mortal hath put on immortality: then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is consumed into victory." but is now declared openly by the appearing of our saviour Jesus Christ, which hath put away death, and hath brought life and immortality unto light through the gospel,

Then cometh the end, when he hath delivered up the kingdom to God the father, when he hath put down all rule, authority, and power. For he must reign till he have put all his enemies under his feet.

The LORD shall come forth as a giant, and take a stomach to himself like a fresh man of war. He shall roar and cry, and overcome his enemies.

According as his godly power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us by virtue and glory: by the means whereof are given unto us excellent and most great promises; that by the help of them ye should be partakers of the godly nature, in that ye flee the corruption of worldly lust.

And I heard a loud voice saying, "In heaven is now made salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: For he is cast down which accused them before God day and night: And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.

The God of peace tread Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood: but against rule, against power, and against worldly rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness for heavenly things. For this cause, take unto you the armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand perfect in all things.

I write unto you fathers, how that ye have known him that was from the beginning. I write unto you young men, how that ye have overcome the wicked. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and the voice of the archangel, and trump of God. And the dead in Christ shall arise first: then shall we which live and remain, be caught up with them also in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Nevertheless, in all these things we overcome strongly through his help that loved us.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and is become the first fruits of them that slept.

Thanks be unto God which always giveth us the victory in Christ, and openeth the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.

I can do all things through the help of Christ, which strengtheneth me.

which through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained the promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, of weak were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

and whosoever overcometh and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over nations,

He that overcometh shall be clothed in white array, and I will not put out his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my father, and before his angels.

that is, to wit, Jesus Christ: which must receive heaven until the time that all things which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began, be restored again.

For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen is no hope. For how can a man hope for that which he seeth? But and if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience abide for it.

the same in himself to have it declared when the time were full come: that all things, both the things which are in heaven, and also the things which are in earth, should be gathered together, even in Christ. That is to say, in him

But our conversation is in heaven, from whence we look for a saviour, even the Lord Jesus Christ, which shall change into another fashion our vile bodies, that they may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself.
