When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. And all nations shall be gathered before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats. And he will set the sheep on his right-hand, and the goats on the left.

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I am not come to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance with his father, and the daughter with her mother, and the daughter-in-law with her mother-in-law. read more.
And the foes of a man shall be they of his own houshold.

I am come to send fire on the earth. And what do I desire? That it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to be baptized with: and how am I straitned till it be accomplished! Suppose ye that I am come to send peace upon earth? I tell you, Nay, but rather division. read more.

And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself: how then shall his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? But if it be by the Spirit of God that I cast out devils, then the kingdom of God is come upon you.

But in this which I declare, I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were ye baptized into the name of Paul? I thank God, that I baptized none of you but Crispus and Caius: Lest any should say, that I had baptized in my own name. I baptized also the family of Stephanas. I know not that I baptized any other. For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel; but not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
