Now I exhort you, brethren, to mark those who cause divisions and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned:

I wrote to you in an epistle, not to associate with whoremongers: but I did not mean not at all with the whoremongers of this world, or the covetous, or rapacious, or idolaters: since ye must then go out of the world. Now we charge you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to withdraw yourselves from every brother who walketh disorderly, and not according to the instruction which he received from us.

They are zealous for you, but not as they ought: for they would exclude us, that ye may be zealous for them:
