Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave up Himself for it:
Wherefore let him, that thinks he standeth, take heed least he fall. No temptation has yet taken you but what is common to man: and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able to sustain; but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Having therefore a great high-priest, that is passed into the heavens, even Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession: for we have not an high-priest who cannot sympathize with our infirmities, but was in all respects tempted in like manner with us, yet without sin. Let us therefore come with freedom to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace for our seasonable help.
Let us inflexibly retain the profession of our hope,
Wherefore let them, that suffer according to the will of God, commit their souls in well-doing to Him as to a faithful Creator.
But Jesus said unto him, No one, that hath put his hand to the plough and looketh back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Fear none of the things which thou wilt suffer: behold the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall suffer affliction ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

It is an undoubted truth, if we are dead with Him, we shall also live with Him: if we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we disown Him, He will also disown us. If we are unfaithful, He continueth faithful notwithstanding; He cannot renounce Himself.
For ye have need of patience, that having done the will of God ye may receive the promise.
and he, that killeth with the sword, shall be slain with the sword. Here then is the patience and faith of the saints.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Let a man so account of us, as the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Now it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Till I come attend to reading, to exhortation, and teaching. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate on these things, be wholly in them, that thy proficiency may be manifest in all.read more.
Take heed to thyself, and to thy doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this, thou wilt both save thyself and those that hear thee.
O Timothy, keep that with which thou art entrusted, avoiding profane empty babblings, and the oppositions of science falsely so called:
Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. The good thing committed to thee keep, through the Holy Spirit which dwelleth in us.

Be watchful, stand fast in the faith, behave like men, be strong:
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again in the yoke of bondage.
Take therefore the complete armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand.
and his lord said to him, Well done, my good and trusty servant, thou hast been faithful in a few things, I will set thee over many, enter into thy master's joy.
And he said to him, Well done, thou good servant, as thou hast been faithful in a very little, thou shalt be governor over ten cities.
Who then is the faithful and prudent servant, whom his lord hath set over his family to give them food in due season? blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so employed: verily I tell you, that he will set him over his whole estate.
And the Lord said, Who is indeed that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will set over his family to give out the measure of food in due season? Happy is that servant, whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing. Verily I tell you, that he will set him over all that he hath.
For I am now going to be sacrificed, and the time of my dissolution is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith. As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance.
These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and those that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
And I saw thrones, and persons sat on them, and judgement was given to them: and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God; and who had not worshipped the beast, nor his image, and received not his mark upon their forehead, and on their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
