Be not therefore sollicitous about the morrow; for the morrow will require thought for its own affairs: sufficient to each day is its own trouble.
therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than raiment?

And that which fell among thorns, are those who when they have heard the word go away and are choked with the cares and riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
And seek ye not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; neither be ye in careful suspense:
Take heed to yourselves, least at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and the cares of life, and so that day should come upon you unawares:
that is married, is in care about the things of the world, and how he may please his wife.
Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me.
Look at the birds of the air; they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns: and yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye preferable to them? And which of you by all his thought can add one cubit to his stature? And why are ye sollicitous about raiment? consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I tell you,read more.
that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothe the grass of the field, which is growing to-day, and to-morrow is cast into the fire, will He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or how shall we be clothed? (things which the heathens are so inquisitive after) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these.

And His disciples came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Lord save us, for we are perishing: and He saith unto them,
And He was in the stern asleep on a pillow: and they awake Him, and say unto Him, Master, art thou under no concern that we are perishing?
And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, Master, master, we are perishing. Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and there was a calm.
And Jesus, immediately stretching forth his hand, laid hold of him, and saith to him, O man of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said to them, O ye of little faith, why do ye argue among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
But Martha, being perplexed about much serving, came to Him and said, Lord, dost thou not regard it, that my sister has left me to serve alone? speak to her therefore that she may help me. And Jesus said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and in a hurry about many things: but one thing is necessary. And Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
And which of you by all his thought can add one cubit to his stature?
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these shall be superadded unto you.
Seek ye therefore the kingdom of God, and all these shall be super-added unto you.
Now to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace:
Be anxious in nothing: but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known before God. And the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.
